  • Why is my download delayed -- or why won't the shopping cart work? I thought everything was supposed to be "instant."
    Usually the purchase and download process is seamless and speedy. However, these are two primary reasons why it may not be.

    If the shopping cart graphic seems to be spinning endlessly (more than a minute or two), try back in about 5 minutes. The shopping cart may be temporarily overloaded with other purchases or our shopping cart Web site is down momentarily.

    If your payment has not processed and you haven't yet received your download link, please be patient. Sometimes it takes longer than you might expect. If your payment method was valid it should ultimately process and you will be notified by our credit card processor. You'll then receive your download link via email. This extra processing time can take as long as 24 hours in some instances.

    In either case, if after a reasonable wait, contact us during normal business hours (9-5 Eastern time weekdays) and we'll investigate the hold-up for you. If the reason is other than the two listed above, we'll find out and let you know. Please be patient, the Internet is amazing, but occasionally, it's just plain slow.
  • What happens if I lose the file that I just downloaded?
    Simply download the tool again. The download link that you originally clicked on expires after 120 hours or after 5 attempts, which ever event happens first.
  • I subscribe to the print edition of Agency Ideas® sales & marketing newsletter. Am I entitled to a discount on my downloads?
    Yes. Paid subscribers to Agency Ideas® newsletter enjoy a 20% discount on every download in the store. For instance, instead of paying $15 for a tool, you pay only $12.   • Is it possible to make any changes to the sales tools that I download?
    Yes. Virtually every tool on this site contains sample language that you easily edit using Microsoft® Word. Exception: The postcard templates require Microsoft Publisher instead of Word.
  • Can I download a single file and then email it to every producer in my agency to use?
    You can edit a tool that you have downloaded and then email it to your producers, as long as they work in the same physical office and use it solely for marketing or selling insurance. If you want producers or other staffers in your agency to use a downloaded tool in another office, you must purchase an additional copy for that office. Refer to our Terms of Use and pricing examples for further details.
  • Can I see a sample before I buy?
    Samples of actual tools are not available. However, a full-color thumbnail image and an extensive description is provided for each tool in the download store.
