Ernest Agent is the lead principal and producer at our fictional XYZ Insurance Agency. We have used the name Ernest Agent (in honor of Oscar Wilde’s brilliant play “The Importance of Being Earnest”), plus Carl Client, Paul Prospect, Sally Special (CSR) and others for years in the articles and sample sales tools appearing in Agency Ideas® sales & marketing newsletter. We thought that the P&C community might enjoy a few laughs based on Ernest and his crew. Hence, this strip.
